Fresh Grown Lettuce
Imagine…
Eating food fresh out of the garden
Ever go to the store and wish the tomatoes were a little redder, the lettuce looked more crisp, the cucumber was less bitter, the tastes were a little bit sweeter and brighter… Well, that’s what we do for you!
What we do…

Garden Box Subscriptions
We grow many different varieties of fruits and vegetables to share with our community through Garden Box subscriptions.

Tomatoes
We grow lots of tomatoes. Cherry tomatoes and salad tomatoes, beefsteaks, slicers, plum, sauce, heirlooms and tasty proven hybrids…all non-GMO. We test new varieties each year to bring you the best flavors of the garden!

Fill-a-box
We offer occasional Ala Carte boxes when produce is abundant. Sign up here to get on our notification list.

Red Barn Katahdins
We raise Katahdin Hair Sheep, a few chickens, and a donkey. The sheep are raised mostly for breed-stock.
Always Learning, Always Sharing

We read. Watch YouTube videos. Follow other farmers. But we still make mistakes or the ideas just don’t work…here. Learning to grow in heavy clay soil takes time.

We love sharing what we have learned, so you can do it better, too. We offer garden classes when time permits. We share when you visit the farm. And we’ll begin sharing tidbits on our page, here.
How We Grow Our Produce
Our vision is to grow healthy food for us and for you. We do that by taking care of the land we grow it on. We continually search for new ways to do that effectively as a small farm. Our knowledge is bringing us closer to a permaculture farm with each new change. We aren’t big on fancy certifications we have to pay for to prove how we grow. However, we are not shy about sharing how we grow.

About us
We are a small family farm. Melissa loves to dig in the dirt with the plants and Steve loves the sheep and making her dreams come true. Through ups and downs of farming and real life, we weather it all, hand in hand.

Living Faith
We all run a fast paced life with ups and downs…we know, we live it, too. But we carry something with us that gives us peace. Some like to know about the faith that we live with. If you are curious about what we believe, we share a small piece of that here. We don’t force it on anyone, but if you have a question, we’ll do our best to share.
